Daughter Christine took over the business at the end of 2016 and now the Mazza women run the winery together. They work hand in hand in the vineyard, in the cellar and, of course, at the wine tavern. Bringing people, nature, crafts and culture into harmony is the philosophy of the two winemakers. Her aromatic, fruity and harmoniously elegant wines reflect this wonderful attitude to life. The most important varieties include Grüner Veltliner and Riesling, and the range is being expanded to include the varieties Gelber Muskateller, Chardonnay and Zweigelt. The vineyards are cultivated with great attention to the soils and vines, the grapes are carefully harvested by hand and gently pressed by the winemakers with great skill and “G'Schpuer,” as they say: in the traditional way, but optimised using modern cellar technology.
