Surreal art at Gleis//Garten 🖌️
Lana Marceta was born in 1996 in Austria. As with many of her peers, her love for art was discovered at an early age. But she only became media coverage when the artist was unexpectedly given infinite, unpaid vacation days due to the pandemic in 2020. From then on, as a surrealist painter, she dedicated herself to the strange, strange things in life. For the most part, the motifs in her surrealist works show her perception of the world, above all the associated processing on an emotional level. Lana's playful nature and her tendency to deprive every situation of its seriousness are part of her and are often reflected in her work.
“I don't think existence wants you to be serious. I have not seen a serious tree. I have not seen a serious bird. I have not seen a serious sunrise. I have not seen a serious starry night. It seems they are all laughing in their own ways, dancing in their own ways. We may not understand it, but there is a subtle feeling that the whole existence is a celebration.” - Osho
